Transportation Membership

Transport is our bread and butter and you don’t have to do anything! Your pup is picked up and dropped off each day of their schedule and you will come home to a happy pup! Our drivers pick up from your home in the morning, and then drop off in the afternoon.

(no refunds/credits/makeup days). Like child daycare you are paying for your pups spot- not their attendance. You must still pay your full membership subscription—sick days or missing due to vacation, holidays etc. Your payment ensures that you have highly qualified staff that are caring for you pup and that we are able to give you the best experience at Fit Dog Chicago!

Fit Dog has a fleet of 4 transportation vans that service multiple neighborhoods throughout the Chicagoland area. Daycare starts at pickup!  Your pup is in our care — they are out of the house, being supervised by our staff, and playing with their friends.  

Transportation pups play at our West Loop location at 1470 West Hubbard Street in the West Loop Neighborhood.  

We provide transport to and from your home - the best part YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE HOME! Our dogs are safely transported in a van that is 2018 or newer in a climate controlled van that is outfitted with a gate to enforce our two-door policy. Our two-door policy is implemented at our locations and in our vans. This system is to ensure that dogs cannot jump out of the van when the van door is open. The driver has to open the van door, then manually open the gate to let dogs in or out of the van. Crates are also in the van for dogs that may need to be crated during transport. 

Attendance and Wellness Checks at our Hubbard Transportation Location - Drivers are given a weekly schedule of their route. The routes are picked up in their specific order each day. Once the driver arrives at Hubbard they safely unload their route dogs into the yard for a bathroom break. Attendance is done by the Route driver and then checked again by the Manager. The names of each dog are read off and we look at the dog to esnure they are in attendance. The dogs are also counted to ensure there were no mistakes/ extra pickups! This is also the first of our Wellness Checks for the day. The attendance count is sent to a group message that is checked by our other managers and Administrative assistant. All routes do this upon arrival and then the final attedance is done and confirmed by management. Wellness checks are done on the hour. Each route driver looks and checks out their dogs for cuts, blood, dirt, any sign of something that happened. Wellness check texts are sent out to the group Route texts for manangemnt to see throughout the day. The safety and well being of our pups is our FIRST PRIORITY!

NOTE: Transport can be closed due to poor weather conditions. If the roads are unsafe for the drivers and dogs, we will close transportation. Dogs can be dropped off at Hermitage if you are able to drive.  We do not refund transport days if we have to close due to unsafe driving conditions.

All credit card transactions will have a 3% card fee
 

Transportation + daycare includes pick up in the morning, daycare, and drop off in the afternoon.

We have 4 Membership options:

2 days per week $480

3 days per week $720

4 days per week $960

5 days per week $1200

All memberships are a set schedule! Add on al la carte days are $65. This means if you need to add on a day that is different from your regular days the charge is $65.

 Transport Rules

  • We CANNOT pick up/drop off at specific times.  

  • We use our own leashes. We do not use clip on leashes to collars or harnesses. This is for the safety of your pup!

  • The driver cannot go back on the route if they aren't able to pick up or drop off your pup. If we cannot drop your pup off the driver will bring the pup to our West Town Location at 506 N. Hermitage Ave. — you can pick them up from there or they can stay for boarding.   

  • Your pup must be at your home for the pickup. We cannot accommodate pickup at alternative locations

  • We need keys or entrance codes for your home.  

  • No refunds for cancelled days regardless of reason. Your days are saved for the month and if you don’t send your pup on your scheduled days you will not be refunded for those days.

  • Your dog must eliminate before we pickup. There is a $50 clean up fee for accidents in the van.

  • Transportation is not available on weekends or holidays.

  • Must pay first 4 weeks of Membership to confirm you spot on the Fit Dog Bus!
